The emissary is one of the most, if not the most important rank of the Eternal Dawn. They are to be honorable at all times, showing the most respect to everyone. They represent the Eternal Dawn and all that it is.

-Attitude-

Emissarys are to uphold the best values of the guild. They should be respectful and helpful to everyone at all times. Any problems an emissary has should be reported to a Duke or the Soverign.

Emissarys are to explain, with great detail, everything about the guild.

-Rank-

Although labeled as such, an emissary is not the second in command in the guild. Rather, they are an off branch of the noble classes. Although considered a noble class, they do not hold rank within the noble system.

-Job Discription-

Emissarys, while recruiting, are not to enter the guild website into any general, trade, or local chat channels.

Emissarys are to be honorable while recruiting. They are not to spam, as this would give the Eternal Dawn a bad name.

Emissarys must carry tabards with them at all times, and make sure that the new recruit gets one right away. You can mail it to them or directly give it to them, but it must be delievered or mailed soon after recruiting.

Emissarys are to let the recruit know of the guild website (eternaldawnguild.tripod.com) no www included in the address.

Emissarys are to explain that the guild bank is for everyone. Anyone can request an item from the guild bank, although they must get ahold of the Soverign, Duke, Baron, or Field Marshal to withdraw that item. Anyone can drop items into the guild bank also via the 4th guild tab, marked by the blue orb on the tab.

Emissarys are to explain the guild bank funds to the recruit. Stating that we would like them to, when they can, make donations to the guild bank by depositing money into it. This action is what keeps the guild bank funded. Depositing the money is asked of, but not required by the Eternal Dawn.

Emissarys are to explain that the guild is based on honor. We will try our best to help them out with anything they need, but not guarenteed to help 100% of the time.

Emissarys will be paid commision for each new recruit they add. They are to send the Soverign the names of their recruits via mail. Currently, emissarys are the only paid position within the Eternal Dawn, they will be paid 1g per recruit.

Emissarys are to remind the recruit to glance at their calendar at times incase a guild event will be held.

Emissarys are to report to Duke Darkshire or Soverign Talren if they have any questions. Darkshire is lead emissary and will be able to answer any of your questions further.

-- To recruit a member you may be anywhere, you do not need to be right next to them. To do this:

----- open up your social interface, or hit the letter O on your keyboard

----- you will see a button dealing with "guild", click that and it should be self explanitory

-----MACROS------

Macros are a great way to save yourself time in typing everything out. To create a macro, push the ESC key, or click the button that looks like a computer on the bottom of your UI. Once in this screen, click "macros". This opens the macro window.

-on the bottom right hand corner of the macro screen, you will see a button that says "new" click it.

-Choose a picture for that icon, as well as a title for it.

-In the black box you may write anything you wish. Once you have completed this, you just have to drag the icon into your UI. When clicked, it will display that message.

Macros will come in handy for anything dealing with recruiting. The easiest would probably be to make a few macros explaining different parts of the guild.

-recruiting

-about the bank

-website/tabard

those were just a few examples of how you can turn minutes of typing into three easy clicks.
