The Council of The Eternal Dawn is built on nothing but truth and honor.
The council is in place to make sure everything is good and fair in the guild. It is there to help
guide the Guild Master, settle problems between guild members, settle problems against the guild, and to make sure the guild
is always going in the right direction.
Councilors are to keep things discussed within the council to themselves. The council shall strive
to do their best in any situation they come across while at council. They should behave professionally and deal with any situation
in the council room honorably.
The council functions with four council members and the Head Councilor. At the end of the meeting,
the four council members will discuss the topic at hand and decide on the fate of the issue. The Head Councilor will guide
the council. He will also, incase of a tie, break that tie.
The council may order the matter:
-- with "Jail" time
-- with a fine
-- with a demotion
-- with guild banishment
-- they may also throw the case out if they choose to
Any member seeking council for anything that deals with the guild or a guild member may contact Jaehaerys
or Talren. It is their job to gather the council. Any matter will have a preset date, that all partys and council members
will know. Only Council members, the accused or bringer of matter at hand, Soverign, and Dukes may attend these meetings.
Examples of meetings are:
--Treason to the guild
--Correcting a wrong between members
--Allowing funds from the guild bank to go towards people/things
--Demotions for any noble class
--any other matter may be run past Jaehaerys or Talren to be deemed ok for council.
These laws govern the whole of The Eternal Dawn, including the Soverign himself.
